Correlation between treatment response and speed of hairloss

Does anybody know if non-responders to finasteride have in common that their hairloss is very fast and aggressive? Is there some correlation between speed of hairloss and response to treatments, mainly finasteride? I mean, are you more likely to respond to treatment if your hairloss is gradual and less likely to respond if it is rapid?

Anyone have any opinions?

well my hairloss as been slow .. started 2 to 2 1/2 years ago and just started noticing my hair looking thin 6 months ago really .. when i started finasteride, but in that time i started finasteride my hair loss has sped up and finasteride hasnt been working or helped at all

.......i had aggressive male pattern baldness, and was only on finasteride...check it out
