Contemplating Rogaine

Hey everyone, I haven't started any kind of treatment yet for what I think I might possibly have some thinning in my vertex/crown area but being at age 37, how realistic could rogaine (minoxidil) work for me? My problem, which I view & supposely nobody else sees it, is where my part is in my crown, it looks like possibly I can see the hair roots & I can see some scalp when I move my hair around in that area. It looks maybe like diffusion, not sure....but back to my original question, would Rogaine in fact work there or maybe is Propecia something I should look into? Being 37, I expect it to possibly get worse and maybe go down the road to a NW5, 6 or 7 possibly.

Thanks for your time

Definitely start sooner rather than later. Rogaine will be a good stuff to start with. If it does not work, add propecia or higher than 5% minoxidil.

It is just my 2 cents

Thanks longhair...can I ask have you ever used it & what kind of results you had? It's not that I don't think I have any slick or bald spots there, just hair along my part line where I can see like parts and "slits" in my hair on the left side. Also taking at 37, do you think I could get maybe some results or maybe I'm too old? Thanks.

Used Rogaine liquid briefly. I had to stop because of scalp itch. Used xandrox5 for a couple of years, which I believe helped maintain my hair. Switched to Dualgen-5 and Dualgen-15 NO PG recently. There is some sign of new growth.
If I remember correctly Rogaine says people of 18 to 55 years old can use it, so you are actually right in the middle.
