Consulting with H&W in a few weeks- advice?

Hello- it's been awhile since I've been on this site, but my hair concerns have remained. I'm 28 and about a Norwood 5. I once went in for a consult with Dr. Meyer from MHR and was told I have average density, though my hair follicles are significantly thicker than average. I have had the same amount of hair for the last 3-4 years or so, and if H&W evaluate me as a candidate, I plan on getting a procedure done around age 30.

My goal is obviously not to regain the hair I had in high school. My hope is to achieve a decent looking hairline with ~3K grafts in the front and another ~2K grafts in the crown and midsection to thicken those areas up. I am not using any anti-androgens (like Propecia), nor am I using any other medicinal (Minoxidil/Nizoral) product. I do not plan on using any anti-androgens but do not have anything against other products like Rogaine or Nizoral shampoo.

Given this, does anyone have advice for me regarding my situation? I am obviously leaning towards FUT since H&W do not do FUE (from what I understand), though I am concerned what the strip excision will cause scalp problems or issues with sweat glands (i.e., because of the excision, sweat glands will be removed from the scalp and scalp tension will be increased). I have been told before that scalp tension is not an issue after a while because the scalp skin stretches and responds to the reduced amount of skin on the scalp, and that any sweat glands removed, if any, are insignificant as a whole.

I'm also concerned about my age, which is why I do not plan on going through with this procedure until I am at least 30. Thanks!
