Hi, im 18 year old with a diffused thinning of hairloss on the hair.. i dont think that i have any male pattern baldness as the hair are getting thin all over the head.. i was wondering if finasteride is going to be effective in my case??

Diffuse thinning is just one of the many patterns of male pattern baldness. Have you seen a specialist to confirm if you have it or not.

If it turns out to be male pattern baldness then yes, Propecia/Proscar may help you.. Depends on how much hair you have lost though!

Well i still do have a full head of hair.. its just that i lose a lot of hair everyday and have a family history of balding.
So i guess then i'll just start on finasteride then. Its just that i feel reserved on the idea of taking a medication everyday...
btw is there any chance of my hairloss becoming worse after starting finasteride?? im so worried about that scenario man..
