I’m concerned about going bald. My mum’s side is bot bald, however my dad’s side is bald except his brother. Any help and opinion would be helpful. First photo is probably when i was 11-12. Second photo is at 19.

Shut up with your nonsense dude fr xDYes ..all men are affected by DHT.. When the testosterone kicks in ..It’s slowly starts to hardened the scalp tissues, reduce blood flow, miniaturize the hair follicles ..
So what to do?
You could try a 1000 things.. but they aren’t going to work as long as your scalp is hardening..
DHT slowly inflames the scalp.. Producjng excess sebum & hardening the underlying scalp tissues. The only way to treat it is vigorous scalp massage to loosen the scalp & get normal blood flow back to normal..But you have to learn how to do it .& . you have to do it yourself..
1) move the scalp above your eyebrows.. see how loose it is .. now move up an inch .. it’s not as loose than up another inch till hairline .. getting stiffer .now keep going front middle top .. It may feel like concrete.. now back of head down to base of skull—it starts getting looser. Do this now on your sides .. All scalp hair must be massaged.. —Sliding pinching ..pressure..,pushing.. Goal is just to move scalp & noticing where there is stiffness to work those areas to be like loose areas
Then there are neck exercises in conjunction to increase blood flow..
So once you feel the hardness .. you will realize why so few people will ever get their hair back .. It takes too much work & consistency.. Parts of my scalp actually are so stiff it’s just like concrete.. If I microneedle I can feel & hear this scalp hardness coming into contact with the sharp needles.. But microneedling doesn’t do what has to be done .. It’s superficial.. It’s piercing scalp but not MOVING or loosening the scalp.

Hi just to add to the thread i have been on Finestrinide quarter of a tablet and minoxidil solution since i was 22 and im now 58 and still have a good head of hair maybe a little temple recession.Your temple does look like it's starting to lose ground on the sides.
If you're really concerned, start Finasteride and topical Minoxidil. Don't listen to some of the stupid
advice about taking solid Minoxidil. Some people are just here to sell sh*t and get money.
