I will be getting spironolactone soon. And I just started Folligen. Should I be content with this? What other product(s) should I consider (besides propecia) or am I fine with those two and maybe minoxidil later? Does anyone have any suggestions.

They say that spironolactone and revivogen serum compliment one another. Bryan shared a report once showing that technically anyway, the 2 products together should be superior to finasteride - as always though, your mileage may vary.

minoxidil 5% is always considered a good product to add early in the fight - and can be used along w/ spironolactone, folligen, and rev.

Have you added Nizoral (1% or 2%) shampoo to your "must haves"?

Just to clarify this - at the very most, we were *hoping* that *maybe* the two together might *come close to matching* Finasteride. Bryan and myself both have reservations as to whether they can work as well as Propecia, but if you can't tolerate Propecia because youve *taken it* and experienced side effects (ergo - dont avoid taking it out of paranoia and put all your hope in this alternative!!!) .... then we consider it the most probable and potentially helpful alternative. Nothing more. Definitely not *more* effective than Propecia - but who knows ... maybe?

Thanks for the feedback.
I want to wait until I get older until I take finasteride.
I will look into nizoral if I can afford it with the shampoos I use.

For me, it is near impossible to apply Dr. Lee's 5% spironolactone lotion with long hair but the liquid 2% works like a charm. better than minoxidil and tricomin because it coves so nicely witout using that much. There isn't really a smell like people say and it feels good on the scalp/ drys fairly quickly.

Be warned about lotions, their a pointless endeavor because you can only apply it to a bald spot so if it ever grew hair you wouldn't be able to apply it anymore unless you shave your head.
