R reckless Established Member Reaction score 68 Jun 24, 2013 #3 It's happened to me. I think it is part of male pattern baldness, it's just that it's more rare. If it's like a uniform loss that's equivalent to the loss on top then it be something else. You should get your thyroid checked out.
