Comb Vs Brush -- Which Is Healthier To The Hair?

Here they state that "A comb is also an ideal tool to use when you want to smoothen your hair. The reason for this is that a brushes’ multiple bristles can bring more friction to your hair causing it to break with every stroke whereas the single row of teeth for the comb allows hair strands to flow in one direction. "

Friction and broken hair is definitely what we do not want and what leads to the wiggy look, right? I have long hair and I've only been using brush now, because the comb just doesnt move through the knots as easily. But should I still be using a wide teeth comb and no brush for a less dry looking look?
