CNN Report on Hairloss.

Anyone read that report on CNN.com about hairloss. Another bullshit article about info that has been around for the past 10 years. Surprise they suggest Minoxidil 5%, Proscar and Hair transplants as the only treatments and went on to describe it as vanity.

Even the two guys they did the stories on where 40 something successful businessmen who could afford H/T's

WTF, I wish some new and interesting news about treatments for male pattern baldness would come out soon- so we wouldn't have to read these outdated reports spawning false hopes.

One thing it did state that all Newbian male pattern baldness's should heed is that-

"Most men go bald because they are in denial and refuse to seek treatment for their affliction, and when they do it is usually to late."

I've never heard male pattern baldness called an affliction... Making me think that the article was written either by a woman or a man with a lot of hair, or possibly a hair-transplant surgeon, because an affliction SHOULD certainly be treated.

It also implies that there is in fact a treatment that works... While I am on pile of drugs I have not yet been convinced that current treatments can keep me a good head of hair if I have aggressive balding. The treatments are too new, the combinations are too new, the process too long to have shown that. I hope, but I dont know. I doubt that CNN knows that, either.

It is better to start treatment early, but I dont know that "the affliction" can be entirely prevented with early treatment, or that everybody needs to have or benefits from treatment.. Its a personal decision which may or may not pay off.

They just did the piece because they cant do "overweight americans" every night all year long...
