Cleaning Scalp w GooGone Vs C22? Crazy idea?

Obviously, C22 seems better out the gate, but before swearing off C22 for adhesive removal from pieces, I bought a bunch of GooGone for 2.99 a bottle.

C22 works brilliantly at removing adhesive from the scalp. Baby Oil, I discovered, also works well - but C22's decidedly better at the task.

So what about GooGone. It seems to be very similar in composition as C22 - which you put on your skin--but would never ingest -can it be used?

I would hesitate to try GooGone on my pieces, as it is not designed to use on a hairpiece.... Have anyone tried it yet?
