Dear HairlossTalk Members:
We have just released the coolest tool any hair loss site has ever seen. A completely customized Social Networking system where you can "Tell your Story", upload your photos, track your progress, write blogs and updates, and network with others who are doing the same. You can even compare your before and after photos side by side, complete with zoom, and pan functionality.
Claim your Profile
As part of setting this thing up, we imported all existing forum accounts, and tied the usernames and passwords to it as well. This means all you have to do is go there and activate your profile. Logging in is easy. Just go here and enter your Forum username and password:

Fill in the first couple pages of information, and you'll see a profile already there with your name on it! Once you've done this, your profile will be activated. A button will automatically appear on your forum posts that links directly to your profile.
Your Main Photo
Please pick a main photo that is of you. If you're not comfortable doing this, take a picture of your nostril, your dog, your car, or like Cassin did, your awesome Adidas shoes. But please, ANYTHING other than your scalp. Save those for the Albums area.
And please don't leave your main photo blank.
Your Story
The most important part of your profile is your story. When you go in to set up your profile, type a little something in the "My Story" box, and save it. Introduce yourself and share your situation with everyone.
Blogs and Albums
You can have a text-only profile, or you can write blogs that have photo albums attached to them. You can also just create photo albums. Its completely up to you. All your photos will appear in thumbnail form but are clickable and zoom to full resolution on the screen.
Comments
We encourage you to leave comments for eachother and help eachother out. This tool is an extension of the old-school discussion-forum-only format. Social Networking is here to stay.
Tell Your Story
To those of you who already have a thread in the "TELL YOUR STORY" area of the forums: We are going to start migrating those stories over to the new tool. You can at any time still log in and customize your profile of course. If you want to do the migrating and need any help with it, just shoot me, Cassin, PropeciaJunkie, or Petchsky a PM.
If you run into ANY problems logging in, navigating it, or seeing any errors, please let one of us know as soon as you can. This is still a new tool so we're working out the kinks.
