Chat almost working need tech support..

alright for some reason when I use mirc and switch the port to 80 I get connected but get the following screen..

whenever I type anything and press enter it displays the 'you're not on a channel'... I do not get anyother pop up box or anything else. The regular chat still doesn't work and when I try to load it, I get a red X in the upper left hand part of the screen.

that is because your not in a channel
