I am in near the end of the six month on using Rogaine foam, twice per day, without pause. My main problem is on the top of the head and the near areas. Though the shedding stopped i see no results in regrowth. None!

Should i use it a little months more or should i switch on liquid minoxidil or try something else like Spectral DNC ?

any further hair loss? I was told by my general practitioner that minoxidil will help you keep what you already have.

The solution penetrates the scalp better than the foam. I'm currenty applying liquid at night and foam in the morning. Though I sometimes have to use foam because of misplacing the liquid.

No loss till now. In fact the shedding stopped almost 100%. But no velus hair yet. In fact not a single change on my regrowth hope. And i don't have problems with the foam reaching my scalp cuz my haircut is very very short, almost zero.

So it's a good idea to use foam in the morning and liquid in the evening? And it's ok to use Rogaine foam and Kirkland liquid? I read somewhere that i should not mix brands. I can't remember why but that's what i read.

I use liquid at night because it's greasy and don't like the way my hair looks after applying it. I keep my hair at an inch and grow it out for a month before buzzing it again. For you it wouldn't matter what time of day you apply it cause you buzz it all the way. However the liquid still might penetrate the scalp better cause it has a different mechanism. Glycerol or something like that. The foam uses

Alcohol.

Regrowth happens to 40 percent of guys I think. I think when using finasteride and min the best you can hope for is keeping your current hair. If you get regrowth it's just a bonus.

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to say i am not taking finasteride or similar. Only Rogaine foam.

And since i have also shedding in front and especially on temples i thought i should give Spectral DNC a try along with Rogaine foam. Meaning Rogaine foam for top of the head and Spectral DNC for front and temples.
