Changed My Finasteride Brand... Sides/efficacy Change?

I was taking Proscar for like 1 year and 1 month when suddenly I couldn't find it anymore in my local market. All major pharmacists said that it's currently out of production. They offered alternatives and so I resumed my regime with Prostacare which, obviously, has finasteride in it.

Proscar only caused a decrease in my semen volume. That's it. However and after resuming with Prostacare, I've noticed that my semen volume increased a bit! That's fine! However, I am worried that it could be simply not working and it could negatively affect my hair, the drug I mean. Any thoughts?

Finasteride is Finasteride, it's the same medicine. I've taken different brands of Dutasteride and there is absolutely no difference. Did you by any chance have to take a little time off when switching brands? I'm sure your hair will be fine.

Not at all, the night before was the last Proscar dose and the next night was the first Prostacare dose.
