LOL!!!!!!!

I checked out the caveman diet, waaaaayyy too over the top for me! I don't think I could handle eating only once a day. It does sound interesting though. I think I'm laughing so hard only because I'm so DRUNK!!! I had a rough night at work and I hit the Jager a little hard. So you eat as much of whatever you want once a day? I read that the hunger actually supercharges you with energy because you didn't slow it down with food. LOL it took me 15 minutes to type this paragraph! Caveman diet!!!!

I don't eat once a day....I just couldn't handle that. I eat cooked meat and low carb vegetables, drink mineral water and green tea and thats about it. I just eat whenever I want really and lately that's been all the time because I get hungry constantly

Sort of, yeah. I ate a diet high in fat and protein and low in carbohydrates for quite some time; as I explained on my blog, it was sort of a combination of Atkins and Paleo diet.

I still think the Paleo diet has many benefits and my diet certainly bears some resemblance to it, but as things like olive oil (not to mention MSM powder) are not truly paleolithic, I wouldn't call it a Paleo diet. The intermittent fasting that I'm currently doing, however, is probably very similar to how the paleolithic man ate.

I think the paleolithic diet is far superior to the average American diet, but it might not be optimal. A good starting point, but there's always room for tweaking.

For those who think you need carbs and fiber to survive, check out what the Masai and the Eskimos eat - only protein and fat. And they're healthier than most people in the world.
