Hello,
27 years old male, I started shedding hair about four years ago. And it has increased slowly for each year, I shed hair all over the head so it's not only affecting one area.
Now I have often noticed that my shedding almost stops the days I consume few carbs. The past days I have been eating less carbs than usual and more vegetables, and my shedding has been minimal. I just have to take a look at my pillow every morning to see the results.
I'm not sure what I have but I can say without a doubt that carbs are playing a big role for me. Just wanted to post this so others could share their own experiences. My diet have consisted of mostly vegetables and seafood. The best would be to not consume any carbs at all, but it's not easy with all the good stuff available out there.
