Can't Get a Piece to Hold Well on the Back of My Side for Some Reason?

The back of my hair never holds.... I'm sure if I used tape I'd be fine, but I'm allergic. I use Ghostbond Platinum - it holds amazingly everywhere except in the back, which always lifts. I have the same problem whether I'm using lace or poly... Everything holds, but the back is a b**ch! Ideas?

How many layers of bond are you using on your scalp?
Are you letting it dry before attaching?

How is the size? Is the back overlaying any of your hair?

Did you clean the back very well with alcohol ? Even a tiny bit of oil can make the glue less effective...
