Can't Feel Prostate On Finasteride?

I've been on finasteride for about half a year. Previous to that, I could often feel a sensation in what I can only imagine is the prostate area. I usually felt it when ejaculating but also I would get a sensation at random times of the day and night. It felt like small contractions and sometimes a twitching sensation.

Anyway since getting on finasteride I have not been getting these contractions at all.

Also before I started finasteride I would often get pre-c*m from nocturnal erections. They weren't nocturnal emissions but I would wake up and notice a bit of pre-c*m that had come from my penis. This has more or less completely stopped since going on finasteride.

Has anyone else experienced these things which then stopped while taking finasteride? Any explanation why it happens?

Part of the sacrifice we make taking finasteride/dutasteride mate, used to love getting the old prostate tickled by the girlfriend but alas, no longer.

What's strange is around about the time I started noticing hair loss I was getting pain and discomfort in my *** (prostate?) at night time.

Now there's no discomfort, no twitching sensation and no pre-ejaculate like there used to be all the time.

I've had a similar experience. It does make sense seeing how finasteride reduces prostate volume.

It's not all that bad though. The nocturnal spasms which emanated from the prostate area often lasted for 20 minutes and gave a good deal of pain. Then after 20 minutes or so the pain would suddenly dissipate.

During the day I would sometimes feel throbbing and twitching that was bit uncomfortable but not as bad as at night.

Now the prostate feels a lot more relaxed and I even hardly feel it, for good or bad.

Seems like you might have had a boggy prostate.. Pretty sure that's what actually finasteride is for. I'm just speculating, I could be wrong though.
