Can zinc in shampoo do anything?

I've read a few regimens that had people taking oral zinc, so I was wondering if zinc in head and shoulders could help. I'm taking it for the dandruff my rogaine is causing. I wanted nizoral, but I don't do the foodshopping in my house.

Actually the data is equivicol. Some studies suggest H and S causes hair loss, some say it might help.

I stay away from it and use Nizoral.

And, I dont understand the food shopping comment?

The zinc in head and shoulders is pyrithione zinc....its different. Head and shoulders will help only as far as to alleviate s. dermatitis which is known to exacerbate male pattern baldness.

Oh I'm only 16 so my mom does all the foodshopping. I told her to buy Nizoral, but she got Head and Shoulders cause it was cheaper. Ugh.

You can buy nizoral online too. Just don't use your parents' credit card ... :lol:
