Can you use Walker ultra hold clear bond on hairline of Lace system?

Can u use Walker ultra hold clear bond on hairline of lace system?

I tried just a little on hairline a few weeks ago and worked fine...but have read not to use with lace and could damage lace over time....

Who told you not to use Walker Ultra Hold clear bond with lace? Does it say that on the container itself?

I wear a Swiss lace system and I don't use Ultra Hold, I use Supertape around the perimeter and the unexposed part of the hairline, and a bit of Walker Safe Grip extended wear adhesive on the middle of the hairline (as I wear my hair in a central parting so the parting area is slightly exposed, so glue works better on that bit). I was actually thinking of trying Ultra Hold adhesive on the hairline for an experiment and to get a longer hold time, but I need to check if it's ok to use with lace. I will email Walker and ask as I don't trust what it says on Amazon!

So as update to this thread, I emailed Hair Direct and Walker to ask this question. So whoever told you not to use it with lace was full of nonsense. I think what they meant was don't APPLY it to the lace itself. Here is the response from Hair Direct:

Hello,

Thank you for your email. Walker Ultra Hold Adhesive is safe to use on all base types. When applying it, we do not recommend putting it directly on the lace material. It is recommended to apply the adhesive to your scalp and then you would want to lightly press the system onto the adhesive to secure it.
