Can using treatments promote hairloss?

What I mean by this is: I know that if you stop using a product, you start to lose a ton of hair. Now, is that only for the new hair that has grown (as a result of using the product) as well as the hair that would have fallen out if you didn't use the product?

Or...if you never started to use the product, would you have lost that much hair (as some people have experienced--losing more than what they started with)

I don't want to start a treatment that will cause more damage, if I start to use it and stop, than if I never start a treatment at all.

All I know is that it doesn't hurt to try. We all know what's waiting for us without the treatments, so why not give it a try? I don't feel I have gained anything by using these treatments for a year, but judging from my twin bros balding I haven't lost any either.

Thanks. I just don't want to risk the side-effects, if it's not worth it.

I am just curious to know if your hair/scalp would become dependent on the topical treatments and pills so that you end up losing more hair than you would have, if you never started any treatments.

If you stopped using hair maintenance and regrowth products, you would eventually lose some or all of the regrown hair and the maintained hair.

Using products is an all-in type of deal, because if you half *** it and second guess stuff and drop off once in a while, you will not see decent results.

I have been on big3 for a solid 6 months, and am going a solid 12 months before I evaluate or try anything else. I like what I have going right now, and the idea of adding for example another topical sounds a little crazy to me right now, I would have to devote a ton more time waiting for stuff to dry so I could style it...

Good luck.

You have an 80%-plus chance of Propecia working. I like those odds.
