Great question! And if anyone can provide a brand that has been good too their thinning hair, that would be really helpful. I’m using L’Oréal Fibrology on days I don’t use Nizora.lA few months ago I noticed a spot in my hair looked a little thinner in light so I started to use these shampoos that claimed to thicken hair and block dht. I eveuantly had to stop using them because the hair on the left side of my hairline now feels and looks thinner, especially in light. I don’t know if the shampoos caused this or if it naturally happened and if my hair will ever go back to normal.

I agree with this guy. I think male pattern baldness relies on mainly your genetics. Then stress probably plays a huge role as well. Diet may have a slight effect too. This is all just my opinion, I don’t really have any science to back it up.I personally believe people really over analyze the effects of some things like shampoos with SLS, or whatever. If you washed your chest hair and facial hair with shampoo everyday do you think you would go bald from the unnatural chemicals in that? If not why on earth would it kill off head hair its the same thing. Healthy hair is very very strong just like chest hairs. Shampoo functions to clean hair. It doesnt do anything else good or bad.
Its like claiming your water PH made you go bald. It doesnt. Whatever causes male pattern baldness causes you to go bald
