Can the foam regrow hair on skin?

Was just wondering if you need to have SOME hair in that area already to experience regrowth. I read somewhere that Rogaine can't work if theres not still at least a little patch there. I'm trying for regrowth on my receded temples where no hair exists anymore.

I do that too, i cover the bald temples and go across the hairline, maybe 1/2 an inch in front of it too, I then kind of smudge it all back through my hair with my fingers onto the bits of scalp with hair that is hard to get to, I keep wondering.. will I just go bald behind the area that I'm treating? That could look rather odd.. :? So Bossman.. I'm not too sure, I hope so.

I've regrown slick bald temples with minoxidil....and this was mostly from the liquid. It's a wonderful drug
