Can someone tell me if my hairline is receeding please

I didnt even notice till the other day, my hair looks fair back at the sides. I asked my mom and she said it's always been like it, but she might just be saying that to make me feel better, it just dont look right to me. No history of baldness in the family or anything like that.

I have always had thin type of hair from my moms side of the family as my dads is really thick.

Sorry to say but it looks likes you've receded a bit to me, but then I have no way of knowing what your hair used to be like.
Even if there's no baldness in your family it could still be male pattern baldness. If it is then there are treatments that work.If you're concerned go see a dermatologist.
