Hello everyone. I was just curious if anyone thinks it would be safe to duplicate the product in this study? The study about the topical finasteride with the film forming agent. I do not see why not. I am anxious to try it, and all of the products to make it are available online.

No, not at all. In fact, I'm planning to do it myself. No rocket science. HPC is a cheap diy cosmetics ingredient, and I have finasteride powder; probably I will combine finasteride-minoxidil-hpc into one.

This product contains HPC at 1%. What the other ingredients might be? Anyway, if there isn't anything odd in it you would end up with at least 0.4% HPC, which is still within preference (0.25 to 2.0% HPC). Seems like there is no good source of plain HPC in the US? I can buy it plain at several places online, and also local pharmacies, 10 ml for less than 4 euro.
