I think I’m getting regrowth.

Been on Finasteride and minoxidil for 4.5 months now and beginning to see a lot of my tiny white vellus hairs gain colour. Then after a while they will drop off and a thicker hair will begin to grow. This isn’t happening everywhere though. I’m still really struggling with my temples.

But can anyone explain if this is some sort of growth cycle?

Am I on the right track? But then it’s like

It is possible for sure. Finasteride and minoxidil do not work always on the temples, the vertex/crown is usually an easier place to fill in. Long term it may start to fill in.

I understand that 4 months is nothing for trying to grow my temples out and I’ll continue for much longer.

But in terms of what I’m seeing now, should I get excited?

If your hair gets thicker with time. I don't see why shouldn't be happy Fast gains on treatments usually means good responder
