Hi,
I've been experiencing thinning for several months on top of my scalp, and around the hairline. It's like all the thickness that I used to have throughout my hair has vanished. I used to ASK the hairdressers to thin it out for me.
The shedding has gotten much worse in the last few weeks, I'm also experiencing an itchy scalp.
I think it's Telogen effluvium, but I can't point to any trauma in the last 6 months.... Could medication be the cause?
Looking back at my calendar, I began taking Protonix in November and by March, my PCP was doing blood tests to check for reasons for hairloss. It's now July and the loss is only getting worse.
Has anyone else had hair loss result from Protonix?
