can Propecia be prescribed by any doctor?

I have a family friend who is an ophthalmologist (eye doctor), and she would probably not mind proscribing me propecia .My prescription from medicalwellnesscenter expired and I don't wanna pay $70 to renew it or pay $40 to go to my regular doctor and risk him saying no or sending me to a derm...

please help me quick cause im on my last pill!

Go to the Propecia website and do a DR search. You will find many doctors up there that offer free consultations regarding male pattern baldness. There was 7 of them with in a 20 mile radius from my home when I checked just now.

As to weather your friend can, its two fold. Yes they can write you a prescription but legally they should not.
