Can Minoxidil Work If You Have Really Oily Skin?

For the record, I always wash my scalp thoroughly before applying minoxidil. What concerns me is the oil that's produced after I've washed and applied minoxidil. I can wash my scalp and face to the point of dryness, but an hour later and it's like I never washed.

Is that an hour after applyinh minoxidil that you skin gets that oily or does that happen anyway even if you dont apply?

My skin was oily long before I had a use for minoxodil.

I don't think the sebum/oil will push minoxidil out of your pores, but maybe try dermarolling to get the minoxidil in deeper. I read even 0.5 is fine. Also Vit B6 can help reduce skin oiliness if taken in large dose.
