Can I use Propecia and Rogaine together?

I'm 22 years old and suffering from hair loss. I had blood work done to determine if the cause was due to a medical condition, such as thyroid, turns out everything is normal. The doctor thinks it is androgenic alopecia. My doctor gave me options of rogaine and propecia, but said I should only use one due to my young age. But I have seen people on online that use both in their regimen. So would it better if I use both treatments?

Right now I am taking Propecia and RegenePure shampoos

If you are just in the beginning stages of hair loss I would just use finasteride. Many people including myself use both finasteride and minoxidil.

Like Notcool says, you should probably just start out with just finasteride and see if you keep what you have and get a little regrowth. If you're not satisfied with the results after a year or so, you can add minoxidil to see if you can facilitate some more growth, but if you're just sticking to one it has to be finasteride. Sometimes, if you catch it early enough, finasteride is all you'll need for quite sometime, and it will save you from the tedious twice daily applications of the minoxidil for quite a while.

I don't know, if I was you, I would attack it with everything. They both work in different ways so if you're serious, use both for the best possible results.
