Now I have a slight receding hairline. My hairline is dead straight but then recedes a little bit as it approaches the temples. I would say it is a Norwood 1. Nothing too drastic but I’ve always had a large forehead, and now that it’s receding it’s making my forehead look bigger. Which is bothering me. I have photos of myself from my younger days and my hairline was dead straight with no signs of thinning. However I noticed that when I turnt to around 18 that it started. It hasn’t gotten much worse since then and I’m 23 now, but if I can help the hair loss then I will try.
It recedes slightly on my right side. But where it recedes the hair is still thick and it doesn’t bother me at all.
However, on the left side. It is going back more than the right side and the whole area is noticably thinner than the right side. The hair looks very straw like and when under direct light you can see my scalp through the hair.
The question I need answered:
When applying minoxidil. Should I apply it to both sides?
Will applying minoxidil to my unthinning hairline do anything? Will it damage the good hairs that I have? Any replies will be appreciated.
