Hello, im 19, solid nw2 atm, and i dont want to get worst so tomorrow i have an appointment with my dermatologist to ask a prescription for propecia. My question is, i have pubertal gynecomastia ever since i was 13, will it get worst if i start using propecia? (If it maintains as it is right now im happy) Anyone had the same trouble as I? I dont feel any kind of pain or high-sensitivity in the pectoral area so i think my gyno is pretty settled down.
Any recommendations if my treatment with finasteride doesnt work?
Thanks!

Why even ask if you're going to do it anyways? Gyno is much easier to prevent than to treat, if you're at risk for gyno finasteride is not a good idea, it elevates estrogen. For most people it's not a problem, but most people aren't gyno prone.

I think it depends on your test and estro levels now. If i we're you I'd get a blood test before taking it and make sure you're not going into treatment with elevated levels. Propecia usually gives a 15% increase in test and estrogen and for some people it's a little overboard and can cause or worsten gyno
