Can I take Dutasteride every 3 days to maintain my hair?

I have no hair loss right now. I actually have full head of hair. I am 24 right now but I want to prevent baldness. I have more than 300 capsules of Duprost by Cipla. Can I use it every other day or every 3 day to maintain my hair? I know this sounds stupid but I am curious and only want to maintain my hair.

Do you have a serious family history of early baldness? I wouldn't touch dutasteride if you didn't, but sure you could be ready to take it the second you notice any thinning. Get a shower hair catcher so you'll know far before it's visible with your eyes.

No point to start a treatment to treat something that doesnt exist

Just wait for initial recession NW0->NW0.5 or so and then start slowly. dutasteride is the most potent antiandrogen... at that point you are probably fine starting with low dose finasteride and keep reevaluating every 6 months. Leave the heavy guns for the last noble fight.
