Can I take 2,5mg of finasteride?

I just got 5mg. of finasteride, after the first week my head still "burns". Is that normal? I'm thinking about a higher dose because of my scalp response, and I'm still loosing hair so fast now.

What do you guys think? 1/4 quarter pill doesn't seem much..

you can, but it will be largely pointless because of the DHT flat dose response curve

Yes, since more won't have any affect on you. Usually they say go with 1 but most people split the 5 to 4 aka 1.25. the extra 0.25 doesn't make more hair.
