Can i apply minoxidil after doing my hair??

I use that surf hair cream to do my hair and i just apply the minioxidil afterwards to save me time ..... otherwise i have to let it dry in the morning before doing my hair which takes too long

supposedly its best applied on clean hair and scalp for better penetration. however, I used to do the same back in the day when I was using it twice and had to go to work in the AM. so I wouldnt worry about it too much. maybe someone else can give their thoughts.
