I'm at a loss here guys. 23 years old with naturally thin hair and high hairline. Admittedly, I began injecting testosterone at age 22. Naturally, I began experiencing slight recession, particularly in the temples. I've used this stuff for long enough under close observation to see how my hair reacts to various dosages etc.
Two months ago I returned to college and moved into a dorm. Progressively I've noticed my hair becoming much thinner and somewhat dry feeling. If I run my hand through my scalp I will come away with several hairs nearly every time. In the shower, upwards of 30. I've experienced this level of shedding sporadically throughout the last year but now it's just a consistent onslaught, every day. I think I've gone from NW1.5 to nearly NW2 just since being here.
A lot of variables have changed in my life but there must be a silver bullet if the shedding is THIS bad. My sleep quality is slightly less, I am mildly more stressed, my fruit/vegetable intake has been fairly abysmal, and I no longer take many of the OTC hair loss supplements I was using at home (palm fruit extract, celery seed, black currant oil).
I notice that there is a fair bit of calcification on the plumbing where I live. It's an old building. I've heard of hair loss induced by poor water quality. I wonder if this might be the smoking gun? I'll be bald by semester's end at this rate.
