I started finasteride in January 2013 and have been on it till now, I noticed that the crown has gotten a little better but my front scalp has been shedding like crazy. I had no evidence of hair thinning and now its pretty evident that im thinning. It seems like the strongest hairs are just shedding away..? Its very weird. I also have been using minoxidil on the vertex/crown area so that may be the reason it is better than before.
