I'm trying to get accepted into a program that tests for steroids and discriminates against baldies. Maybe they would grant me a waver for hairloss, or maybe not. It is only 3 weeks long, so I plan to go without finasteride for the 3 weeks and get back on. I don't want to be off it for 30 days before the test, though.
How long can it be tested for?
I know it is almost 100% eliminated in the urine and feces as metabolites from the liver, but I don't know the time period. I also know it has a half life of 3-13 hours, average 6 hours, in the blood plasma.
Anyone know for sure how long I can take it before the test and pass? They won't say what test they are using or what drugs they are testing for, but I'm sure finasteride is a strong possibility. Sources, please.
Thank you.
