Can Biotin Help Against Telogen Effluvium

And what do you think about biotin in general? I have a 1 year supply at home but it's too highly concentrated (10 mg) and if it only makes existing hair grow faster i have no need for it. But can it stop a shedding? i shed between 50-100 hairs a day, almost all of them have a bulb.

It is, I did a trichoscan and my telogen hair rate is higher than 40% at the back of my head, ~35 on top. It could also be Telogen Effluvium due to early stage male pattern baldness. I'm getting on finasteride soon anyway

Biotin 10 mg is absolutely safe! No sides if you take and it does help for some..try it who know you be the lucky one! Just watch for acne..It cam cause severe acne at that concentration. Other than that it is good for your hair.. highly recommend to try it...i am myself using it at 10mg and sometimes 5. I am on finasteride too..and can see new growth of hair..so it is kind of helping finasteride. And i did get the acne side effect..dont know what is causing it finasteride or biotin.(not severe, just moderate and somedays it clears and comes again)
