an advanced lab is needed to be 100% sure it is dutasteride and not a similar molecule. But a common chemist can easily rule out empty pills, and rule out many other meds. The chemist just needs a trusted avodart sample to compare the questioned sample to. It is not positive identification, but the odds of there being a similar chemical, and at a dose that looks similar, is kind of small. Probably fakers are not trying to fake chemists, since they know they don't stand a chance against FDA tests. Probably their fake pills are either a different med or a blank, most likely. So a common chemist can catch most fakes, but can't positively say something is real.
And no, you may not ask me to test anything. Pay a local chemist to do it. You'll have to buy them some real avodart at a local pharmacy for them to compare you imported stuff to. And hopefully wherever you got it from keeps it real in the future.
