Hello,

I started taking finasteride two months ago and I recently feel my left nipple is changing a little bit, getting kind of fat but not that much to be sure how different it looks like before. What is worrying me is that, besides of thinking my nipple could be changing, not quite sure, I am sure that I am feeling something on that area, something difficult to describe, it is not pain, it is like I need to touch my breast and hold it because of some kind of sensations that comes and go.

I need to know, please, from people that suffered of gynecomastia from taking finas, what did you feel at the beginning? What are some symptoms apart from the obvious breast enlargement? does what I said remember your situation? I am just not ready to assume that the last option I have to keep my hair won't work....

P.S. I had an appointment with a breast specialist and he sent me some ultrasound tests (I am waiting to get them) but he also told me that everyone taking finas will suffer gyno almost certainly. My derm, whom I also mentioned this, told me tha it is almost impossible and a lot of his derm colleagues take finas and I should not worry.

Medicine really gotta get his sh*t together....

Hi,

I don't have answers as I am in the same boat, started finasteride 3 months ago but noticed very slight protruding nipples (no sensitivity though) and have immediately stopped. I am sure its due to finasteride as I am skinny guy and always had a flat chest. It seems taking 50-100mg zinc tablets might help to reduce the puffiness.

Not everyone that takes finasteride gets gyno, that specialist is being a little ridiculous. It can give gyno if you're gyno prone/sensitive to E2. If I were you, I'd stop taking it, get a bloodwork done, and get a script for letro if it's confirmed gyno by the results you're waiting on, and you caught it early (be careful with letro though, it's a powerful drug itself). If you leave gyno untreated it'll most likely require surgery to be removed.

I am very prone to getting gyno when i block dht by taking supplements. Even natural ones like nettle root sups. The feeling i got are puffy and sensitive nipple on the right side after a few days. I workout a few times a week so i noticed it right away. When i stopped taking the sups and did some cardio for a couple weeks it was gone.

I use a dermaroller and minoxidil for regrowth. Regenpure to block some dht on the scalp and im gonna use castor oil to activate some pge2.

I know people will say this wont work and who knows but i rather try some natural things and a little bit of chemicals like minoxidil than throw in everything all at once. Just stepping it up once i notice things dont work.
