So does anyone understand or can hypothesize what CAG repeats code for?

I'm trying to understand this because I have a high CAG repeat score from my Hair Dx test, which means finesteride does not work for me.

If I can understand why, maybe I can do something about my hair

At first I thought maybe it means I have too many receptors so that why it doesnt work for me. But CAG repeats are opposite in women, the more you have, the less likely you lose hair

here are the links:

"A shorter CAG repeat is associated with a higher risk for Female Androgenetic Alopecia while a longer repeat is associated with a lower risk for Female Androgenetic Alopecia."

"In general, a shorter CAG repeat length (<22) is associated with a greater likelihood that the patient will experience a significant benefit by using finasteride for the treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia."
