Has anyone had a painful, sore, burning sensation from using spironolactone on their scalp?

When I used Dr Lees 2% mixed with alcohol yes.

I put it down to the alcohol.

I use the product from this website. i've become aware of this sensation the last couple of weeks. What do you use now? Is it working?

I use my own made spironolactone, plus revivogen, four months in it seems to be working with a tiny bit of regrowth, but i'm somebody who originally responded very well to propecia and has very slow hair loss the crown.

Are you putting anything else on your head, if not there's a really good chance the problem is with one of the ingredients in the carrier cream, maybe look for another brand of topical spironolactone.

I used the stuff from this site and my scalp has been burning incessantly. I had to stop it for a while. It was too much, too distracting. Maybe I applied too much. It says use sparingly but I have alot of bald real estate up top.
