Bump on the back of my head?

Hey, anyone else have a wierd bump on the back of their head? Its basically on the lower part of my head just above my neck. To me it feels really hard so i'm pretty sure its just the structure of my head. I've had it checked by my Doctor and she pretty much agreed with me and told me its nothing to worry about.

Anyway, its never bothered me before because my hair covers it up but now of course i'm losing my hair and it makes it twice as hard for me to shave my head (its just one thing after another lol).

Anyone know what i'm talking about? I feel its a case of one in a million so i'd be interested to see if any of yous guys have anything similar.

lol, when I saw the title of this thread I thought I had created it but forgot all about it.

Man, I've made many posts on this board complaining about my bump (it's in the exact same spot as the one you describe btw), so trust me, I know exactly what you're talking about. And I can also guarantee yours isn't as hideous as mine. Have you had someone say you look like an alien, ask you if it's a tumor, or just say "eewwww"? Trust me, I've been staring at the back of ppl's heads for most of my life now and not once have I've seen anyone whose bump is even close to being as big as mine. So if it makes you feel better, at least you know there's someone who's in a worse position than you.

So I know how it feels to be balding AND be stuck with that bump! I feel like I pissed off God in someway that's why he put me in this position. Like c'mon, if you're gonna make me bald, at least let me shave my head dammit, haha. So that's why for now, I just buzz my whole head with a 2 guard b/c when I do cut it shorter than that, that's when I get those comments from other ppl.

of those things some people have and some people dont like earlobes

No (lol), the only person who's noticed it is my mum. I've also never had my hair shorter than grade 2 and generally avoid situations where anyone can stare closely at the back of my head.

i imagine your bump isn't that bad considering only your mom noticed it. I can't even begin to tell you how many ppl noticed my bump, and that's even when I buzz it with a 2 guard.

I honestly wouldn't have gone on the meds had it not been for the bump. I would've gladly shaved it all off and just accepted going bald (believe it or not, from the front I actually look better with a shaved head than a full head of hair, so it's not that big of a deal to me)
