So some of you may remember my post i made last Monday about stopping the 1.25 of fina and the switch over to the real propecia pill.
Anyhow when i went to the Doctor last week to get the script i had him check my blood hormone lvls. 2 years ago i had high estrogen and wanted to see if they subdued.
Today i got the results and my test was 759 and my estrogen was still a whopping 203. I am hoping that switching to the 1mg propecia will bring this down although i fear it may not. I was off any Finasteride for 6 days before that blood was taken, not that i expected to drop from 6 days but i don’t think it would hurt.
My doctor is kind of dumb and basically said oh well; there is nothing you can do about it. I told him maybe it isn’t my Finasteride and something wrong with me even if i wasn’t taking the hair pill. He said that may be the case but there is still no treatment for higher estrogen in men. Then his lack of stupidity comes out and says "they don’t make anti estrogen pills for men" not saying i want that but they most certainly do make anti-estrogens, maybe not specifically for men but we all know they are out there.
So then he says i see no need for a specialist you should just live life with high estrogen basically. I said no! I do want a specialist and he look like he got mad. I told him no disrespect but i need to know what’s going on to clear my head.
Anyhow to make a long story short the epic journey continues to find out what up with high serum estrogen. I will have an app with a endocrinologist after Sep 12.
