hey i havent been around in a while and i was wondering how you situation is working out
i know you said that minoxidil killed your scalp and made it worse and then you switched to dr lees, that was the last i was on the site
just curious to see if things are working out for ya
In terms of irritation, I have pretty much won that battle. I do miss SOME applications, but not many. Right now I apply xandrox in the morning, and spironolactone + minoxidil at night. On Fri-Sun i double up on the spironolactone but wash it out 3-4 hours after application because of any smell. I also have a "spironolactone hat" that i'll wear out in case i have both minoxidil & spironolactone on. Both the minoxidil & xandrox are PG-Free.
I still use folligen but more like 2-3 times a week, and that's only when I feel the itches coming on. This usually cools things off.
Internally, I still do 1mg of Fina & a bunch of antioxidants.
Biotin rocks, I do notice my fingernails growing thicker and harder so I assume I'm improving the quality of my hair that *is* growing.
In terms of shampoo, I have been using nizoral 3x a week sucessfully. I use T-Sal 2-3 days an then follow it up with Thicker Fuller Hair shampoo for cosmetic purposes. T-Gel makes an appearance every once in a while, but I have been slacking becaue I'm wary of all the chemicals my head is dealing with.
Regrowth? No, i haven't had that yet. Thinning slower? Nope not that either. I'm giving this exact regimen until March before I make a decision to change things up.
