blowdrying and minoxidil

I was wondering if after I leave minoxidil on for about 20-30 minutes if it is ok to blow dry my hair. I am hoping blowdrying will not affect the effectiveness of the minoxidil. any feedback would help immensely.

NEVER EVER blow-dry your hair shortly after applying minoxidil! There was actually a medical journal study which documented how that blows a lot of the minoxidil right off your scalp! :wink:

How long should one wait before blowdrying? I assume 30 minutes isn't long enough, but is one hour safe? Two hours? Or should one not blow dry until at least four hours have elapsed?

You're on the right track! Just wait until everything is dry to blow-dry your hair. Should help things out.
