i never used to notice any hairs in the shower sink shirt pillow, but last september i started shedding hairs, and it still hasn't stopped. i wasn't on any treatment of any kind.

my hair had always slowly thinned a bit since high school. I'm 23 at the moment, but with the crazy shedding it's slowly showing more and more scalp on the top.

Do you just go to your regular doctor to get blood tests, and thyroid tests. I've been hoping that it was a Telogen Effluvium that would stop after 6 months or so, but it hasn't seemed to slow up in the least. A couple months after the shedding started i began taking propecia, but still nothing has changed.

Go to your family doctor and ask for a thyroid blood test, they should test your TSH and FreeT3 and FreeT4 hormone levels. I'm almost an expert on thyroid disease since I too thought it caused my hairloss, but let me tell you, it's very rare in men.
