Bit Of Honest Advice Please On Growing Receding Hair

My hair has been receding for a few years now so i just shaved it off from the start and have for ages , the wife has badgered me for ages to grow it but im not sure at all so ive come here for advice , its only a couple of mm long at the moment but she says to grow it and slik it back , honest replys please

nah man, you grow that out and it will NOT look good. Tell your wife to shut up. haha... who says that to their husband? grow it out? there's basically nothing there! you may be a good condidate for a hair transplant though.

Your username rings a bell , are you that guy where you had your hair kinda long brushed to the side and you had a thread that went for a few pages where everyone told u it's time for a buzzcut and eventually your shaved your head ?
If the answer is yes , then you need to politely explain to your wife that the buzzcut suits you much better and the longer hair looks very peacocky and the type of hair that attracts attention not in a good way.
If you're not that guy , then dismiss everything i just said , but i would say that with your current balding it won't look any better having your hair grown out , listen to the guy posting above me.

It depends on your hair characteristics some guys can pull off amazing comb overs. Maybe you could ask a good hairdresser...

Keep your hair as is. Get on finasteride and minoxidil, consider a hair transplant, then you can grow it out. As is? No.
