big white flakes

has anyone else gotten big white flakes of skin? I got them before I started using rogaine and nizoral...so I'm pretty sure its not dried foam or shampoo. These flakes are almost 1/2 inch in diamater, and dont even come out in the shower....I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similair experience

I can't be sure exactly what you're describing, but I think I've had something similar in the past. For me though, Nizoral and T-gel fixed it up so I guess I was lucky. Can you give us some more info about your symptoms? Do you have redness, pain, tenderness, itching etc?

there is some itching and tenderness but no redness, even after i shower i find these big white flakes caked onto my hair and if i pull them out about 10 hairs come with; if i scratch my scalp i find this soft, yellowish, flakey substance under my fingernails - and , of course, a bunch of hair comes with. It seems that the severity of this dandruff is actualy contributing to my hair loss...has anyone had anything similair?

thats exactly what happens to me. i was using nizoral too and that didnt help it at all. also wash m hair with head & shoulders shampoo/mane & tail conditioner
